Job summary

Hereworks is seeking a proactive Bid Executive to join our Ireland Office (Ashbourne) in a hybrid role. You will translate technical information into persuasive proposals, supporting bids from requirements through final submission while collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Bid and Proposal Development — Support bids and submissions from requirements to final submission, turning subject-matter input into client-focused responses and research into tailored proposals.
• Content Creation and Storytelling — Create and update brochures, case studies, project profiles and presentations, showcasing Hereworks' people and outcomes with fresh, accurate, reusable content.
• Collaboration — Work with Sales, Project Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Finance and Leadership; join bid kick-offs, workshops, site visits and client presentations.
• Project Delivery Support — Help develop Project Delivery templates and capture lessons from projects for future proposals.
• Continuous Improvement — Develop bid templates and best-practice resources; use AI-enabled tools to improve research and content efficiency while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Company Initiatives and Accreditations — Contribute to People & Culture activities and support accreditations by maintaining documentation.

We are looking for someone curious, comfortable researching, asking questions and organising information into clear communication. No previous bid experience or detailed technical knowledge is needed — we can teach that. What matters is curiosity, care for quality and confidence to ask good questions.

This is not simply completing tender documents: you will work across sales, engineering, project management, operations and customer success, turning technical information into persuasive proposals — from case study interviews to client research and site visits. You will receive training and mentoring, with future pathways into bids, project management, delivery, operations, business development or customer success.
