Role Description

This full-time on-site role, based in the South East Leinster region, involves conducting BER assessments for residential properties across the Leinster region. The BER Assessor will visit homes to perform detailed surveys, collect technical data, and input findings into approved assessment software to generate official BER certificates and advisory reports.

Daily tasks include reviewing building plans and specifications, identifying potential energy efficiency improvements, and explaining assessment results in a clear and professional manner to clients.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, staying current with relevant building and energy regulations, coordinating site visits, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Recognized BER Assessor qualification or equivalent energy assessment certification, with current registration or eligibility to register.
• Ability to conduct on-site property surveys, interpret building drawings, and accurately collect and record technical data.
• Proficiency with energy assessment or BER software tools, along with confident use of standard office and reporting applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in a practical and accessible way.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Leinster for site visits.
• €35,000 annual wage (mileage, lunch allowance, phone and workwear provided)
