Blackrock Health Galway Clinic is seeking a Bed Manager (37 hours per week) to efficiently manage bed resources and ensure safe patient placement. The role involves liaison with A&E, ICU, and clinical teams, with daily bed scheduling and KPI reporting.

Desirable experience includes management/administration and infection prevention knowledge. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Meditech is expected to support operations and discharge planning.

Formación

• Must have strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in administration or management is preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate hospital reservations and bed control activities.
• Coordinate admissions to maximise bed resource utilization.
• Daily scheduling of beds and communicate updates to each ward.
• Prepare and update daily, monthly and annual reports and statistics.
