Job summary

Glenveagh Properties plc is seeking a BCAR Coordinator/Engineer to manage project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance throughout construction.

Based in Leinster with hybrid working, you will coordinate inspection plans, prepare site reports for CCC, manage BER documentation, and liaise with certifiers and site teams to support timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Third-level technical qualification required in Construction/Civil Engineering/Building Surveying or related area
• Relevant civil/Construction experience essential
• Strong understanding of Building Control Regulations and Code of Practice
• Solid grasp of construction sequencing of works
• Strong technical aptitude with excellent communication skills
• Full valid driving license required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track inspection plans during the project
• Undertake timely site progress inspections and reports for CCC applications
• Coordinate legal boundary maps for submission to Land Registry and legal teams
• Coordinate and populate subcontractor Ancillary Certification on site
• Collate BER documentation for BER certification release
• Ensure provision of test certificates and confirmations for Completion Certificate submission
• Attend weekly site Project Coordination meetings and provide BCAR summaries
• Identify documentation required for technical packages with subcontractors
• Report weekly/monthly data to site teams and stakeholders
• Maintain a professional image in dealings with the public and stakeholders
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the Company

Role Summary

The BCAR Coordinator/Engineer is responsible for the collation of all project documentation.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Co-ordination and tracking of inspection plans during the course of the project
• Undertaking timely site progress inspections and reports for CCC applications
• Coordination of all necessary legal boundary maps for submission to Land Registry and legal teams
• Coordination and population of all relevant subcontractor Ancillary Certification in line with works on site
• Collation of technical documents required for BER assessor for release of BER certification
• Ensuring co-ordination & provision of all test certificates and confirmations to the satisfaction of all Certifiers for the purpose of Completion Certificate submission
• Attend weekly Project Coordination meetings on site and provide BCAR Summary reports in line with site progress
• Attending subcontractor Pre-Award Meetings and identifying in conjunction with the BCAR Technical officer the documentation required for all technical packages provided by the subcontractor
• Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partnersMaintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
• Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Requirements

• Must have a third level qualification in a technical discipline - Construction/ Civil Engineering /Building Surveying or other related area
• Relevant experience in a in civil engineering or construction role
• Full understanding of Building Control Regulations and Code of Practice
• Full understanding of construction sequence of works
• Technically strong with excellent communication skills
• Full valid driving license is required
