Job summary

Glenveagh is seeking a BCAR Coordinator/Engineer to collate project documentation and support site operations. You will coordinate inspection plans, manage BER documentation, and ensure completion certificates with certifiers, while working in a hybrid on-site environment.

Ideal candidates have a third level technical qualification and civil/construction experience, with strong communication skills and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Must have a third level qualification in a technical discipline - Construction/ Civil Engineering /Building Surveying or related area.
  • Relevant experience in civil engineering or construction.
  • Full understanding of Building Control Regulations and Code of Practice

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination and tracking of inspection plans during the course of the project.
  • Undertaking timely site progress inspections and reports for CCC applications.
  • Coordination of all necessary legal boundary maps for submission to Land Registry and legal teams.
  • Coordination and population of all relevant subcontractor Ancillary Certification in line with works on site.
  • Collation of technical documents required for BER assessor for release of BER certification.
  • Ensuring co-ordination & provision of all test certificates and confirmations to the satisfaction of all Certifiers for Completion Certificate submission.
  • Attend weekly Project Coordination meetings on site and provide BCAR Summary reports.
  • Attending subcontractor Pre-Award Meetings and identifying required documentation for all technical packages.
  • Report weekly and monthly data to site teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders.

Role summary

The BCAR Coordinator/Engineer is responsible for the collation of all project documentation.

Key responsibilities and duties
  • Co-ordination and tracking of inspection plans during the course of the project

  • Full understanding of construction sequence of works
  • Technically strong with excellent communication skills
  • Full valid driving license is required
