Job summary

Elk Recruitment's client in Cork City is seeking an experienced Showroom Sales specialist with a focus on bathroom ware and plumbing. You will be the primary contact for customers visiting the showroom, demonstrating products, offering professional advice, and guiding selections to ensure satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience in bathroom or home improvement, excellent communication, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in bathroom, plumbing, or home improvement industries.
• Strong knowledge of bathroom fixtures, plumbing components, and related accessories.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to assess customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Basic understanding of sales processes, including quotation and order management.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customers and tasks simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing expert guidance on bathroom and plumbing products.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products that meet their requirements and budget.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product range including features, benefits, and installation procedures.
• Prepare and present accurate sales quotations and handle sales transactions efficiently.
• Collaborate with suppliers and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and proper installation when required.
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
• Keep the showroom organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
