Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa in Killarney is seeking experienced full-time bartenders to join Cafe du Parc, our central cafe and bar. You will take drink orders, serve guests, and support bar operations across the hotel to maintain high service standards.

The ideal candidate has bar or cocktail experience, excellent knowledge of beers, wines and spirits, and a professional, friendly approach. Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar service is preferred.
• Cocktail preparation experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of beers, wines and spirits required.

• Ability to work in a busy team environment.

• Must be 18 years or older and flexible for weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from guests and serve them while maintaining high customer service.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced full-time Bartenders to join our team in Cafe du Parc. Cafe du Parc is a thriving cafe and bar in the centre of Killarney. It is part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa. It is open 7 days/nights per week serving breakfast, lunch and a wide range of beverages. It serves a wide variety of guests from locals to international visitors. The cafe offers a relaxed setting for socialising. The candidate will also be required to assist in other bars throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:

• To take drink orders from guests and serve them while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• To ensure our 4 Star standards are achieved at all times
• To ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
• To work as part of the team, and being flexible at all times

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Previous Bar experience is an advantage.
• Cocktail experience is an advantage
• Must have a good knowledge of beers, wines and spirits
• Must have a professional and friendly approach and focus on providing excellent customer service
• Must be able to work well in a busy environment and as part of a team.
• Fluent English is essential and permission to work in Ireland.
• Must be 18 years+ and be flexible with shifts and available to work weekends.
