Job summary

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is seeking experienced full-time Bartenders for Cafe du Parc in the centre of Killarney. You will take drink orders, serve with high standard of customer service, and support other hotel bars as needed.

The role requires knowledge of beers, wines and spirits, a friendly professional approach, and the ability to work in a busy team environment. Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland are essential, with weekend shifts available.

• Previous bar experience is preferred.
• Cocktail experience is advantageous.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced full-time Bartenders to join our team in Cafe du Parc. Cafe du Parc is a thriving cafe and bar in the centre of Killarney. It is part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa. It is open 7 days/nights per week serving breakfast, lunch and a wide range of beverages. It serves a wide variety of guests from locals to international visitors. The cafe offers a relaxed setting for socialising. The candidate will also be required to assist in other bars throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:

• To take drink orders from guests and serve them while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• To ensure our 4 Star standards are achieved at all times
• To ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
• To work as part of the team, and being flexible at all times

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Previous Bar experience is an advantage.
• Cocktail experience is an advantage
• Must have a good knowledge of beers, wines and spirits
• Must have a professional and friendly approach and focus on providing excellent customer service
• Must be able to work well in a busy environment and as part of a team.
• Fluent English is essential and permission to work in Ireland.
• Must be 18 years+ and be flexible with shifts and available to work weekends.
