Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Dublin is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our welcoming team. You’ll deliver great service, learn wine and beverage knowledge, and help guests feel at home in a busy hotel environment.

Training through Dalata Academy, opportunities for growth, and staff benefits reflect our commitment to developing people from within. Fluent English and strong customer service are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced food and beverage operation.
• Previous hotel experience is desirable but not essential.
• Micros experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name and made to feel welcome.
• Maintain good knowledge of food, beverages, and wine, with recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever possible.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

What You'll Need:

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.
