The SpitJack in Dundrum, Ireland, is seeking an energetic hospitality professional for a hands-on operations role in a busy restaurant. Join an award-winning team dedicated to service excellence and get involved in every aspect of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Know the licensing laws and Customs & Excise Regulations.
• Serve beverages to customers according to the standards set by the Restaurant, and to the customers satisfaction.
• Keep the service and customer service areas clean and tidy.
• Comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the establishment, and ensure others are aware of their responsibilities.
• Requisition stock for each day’s business, display it and set it up for service.
• Use the cash register in accordance with Company cash handling procedures.
• Wash and dry all dirty glasses and ensure hygiene standards.
• Have knowledge to serve all beverages available.
• Maintain a high level of cooperation with all other staff.

Duties:

• To know the licensing laws and Customs & Excise Regulations


• To serve all beverages to customers according to the standards set by the Restaurant, and to the customers satisfaction.


• To keep the service and customer service areas clean and tidy.


• To be fully conversant and comply with the health safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the establishment, and to ensure others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.


• To requisition for stock necessary for each day’s business, to display it and set it up for service.


• To use the cash register in accordance with Company cash handling procedures.


• To wash and dry all dirty glasses as required, and have all glasses and service articles in a condition suitable for use, with particular regard to Hygiene requirements.


• To have knowledge to serve all beverages available.


• To maintain a high level of co-operation with all other staff in the company.

Person Specification Required:

• Ability to provide warm, friendly and efficient service


• Must be passionate about in operations


• Must be standards driven and detail-orientated

• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and evaluate customer service levels with afocus on continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2 years experience in a similar establishment


• Fluent in English, second language an advantage.


• Available to work 40 hours per week


• Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
