Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Barista is essential.
• A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to upholding high standards.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to cleanliness.
• Basic math skills for cash transaction handling.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Expertly prepare a range of coffee drinks (espresso, latte, cappuccino).
• Extend warm greetings to customers and engage in conversations about offerings.
• Routinely maintain and clean coffee brewing equipment and report issues.
• Deep understanding of coffee beans, extraction methods, and grind settings.
• Maintain the coffee station in impeccable condition, well-organized and stocked; adhere to hygiene standards.
• Oversee the dessert counter, display, stock rotation and allergens awareness.
• Accurately process payments, handle cash, and maintain a secure cash drawer.
• Work efficiently during busy periods to minimize customer wait times.
• Exhibit adaptability by learning other Front of House duties and maintaining flexibility.
