Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a customer-focused Barista in Waterford to be the heart of our coffee bar. You will craft espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You'll handle POS transactions, maintain a clean workspace, restock supplies, and collaborate with the team during peak periods to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in barista, hospitality, retail or customer service roles is desirable but not essential.
• Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service and positive interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customers.
• Friendly, professional and approachable demeanor with enthusiasm for the role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities.
• Attention to detail and quality in beverage preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty coffee creations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking orders accurately.
• Operate POS systems and handle payments with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including equipment sanitization.
• Restock supplies proactively to ensure the bar is prepared for service periods.
• Collaborate with team during peak periods to maintain service flow.
• Adhere to food safety, health and safety regulations and company procedures.
