Job summary

Esquires The Organic Coffee Co. in Navan is seeking a Café Assistant for a permanent, full-time, on-site role.

You will support the drinks and food counter, assist with seating and KP areas, and ensure hygiene, stock and cash handling are managed efficiently. Ideal applicants will have barista or deli experience, a friendly, professional manner, and strong customer service skills to engage guests and keep the café running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prefer barista and deli experience for the role.
• Excellent communication and a friendly demeanor are expected.
• Flexible, can work 5/7 days as required.

Responsibilities

• Make teas and coffees for customers.
• Prepare and serve food at the counter.
• Maintain day-to-day hygiene and cleaning.
• Support and implement health and safety policy.
• Rotate stock, label food, and keep records.
• Take customer orders and handle cash daily.
• Keep cafe area stocked, clean and tidy.
• Attend internal meetings and trainings as agreed.
