Job summary

O'Hehirs is seeking a full-time Junior Deli Assistant for our café in Claremorris. You will join a friendly, customer-focused team, helping to prepare and serve fresh food and beverages with care.

The role requires 2-3 years in a similar deli setting, cash till operation, and barista experience. You will work across 5 days per week (35+ hours) across 6-day cafe, with no evenings, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience as a Deli Assistant
• Confident handling cash and operating a till
• Barista training or experience preparing quality coffee and beverages

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of teas, coffees, and other beverages
• Serve signature sandwiches to a high standard and promote daily specials
• Prepare hot food with focus on quality, presentation and service
• Keep work area clean, organized and welcoming
• Operate the till and complete end-of-day cashing-up procedures
• Support bakery and wash-up areas during busy periods
• Welcome and train new team members and assist them as they settle in
