Café du Parc in Killarney, part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa, is seeking an experienced full-time Barista to join the team. You will work a range of shifts, including weekends, delivering high-standard coffees and drinks and providing warm, attentive guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees and beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including seasonal offerings and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure the coffee station and service areas are clean, organised and stocked.
• Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service to create a memorable guest experience.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and end-of-day cleaning.
• Support the wider café and bar team during busy periods as required.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
• Follow health, safety, and food safety procedures in line with company policies.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the brand standards.

Job description

Café du Parc is a thriving café and bar in the centre of Killarney. It is part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa. It is open 7 days/nights per week serving breakfast, lunch and a wide range of beverages, with entertainment on weekends. It serves a wide variety of guests from locals to international visitors. The café was fully refurbished recently and it offers a relaxed setting for socialising.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Barista to join the team within Café du Parc. The candidate will be required to work a range of shifts, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees and beverages to a consistently high standard
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu, including seasonal offerings and upselling opportunities
• Ensure the coffee station and service areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times
