Job summary

Poolbeg Yacht & Boat Club in Dublin 4 is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver a warm, professional drinks service for Members and guests. You will craft cocktails and wines, maintain a clean bar, and work closely with the floor team to ensure smooth service.

The role requires 1–2+ years in a similar role, strong English communication, and availability for evening shifts. English is required, and the position is full-time and in-person.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience behind a bar, serving beverages to a high standard.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.

• Ability to work evenings and stay composed under pressure.

Salary: Depending on Experience

Contract: Full-time

As a Bartender, you will be at the heart of the Club Members experience, crafting drinks with care and adding to the warm, professional atmosphere that makes Poolbeg Yacht & Boat Club special. You will work closely with the floor team to ensure seamless service and memorable moments for every guest/Member.

• Responsibilities include: Preparing and serving cocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages to the highest standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar
• Communicating effectively with floor Staff and Manager
• Following all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines

The Ideal Bartender:

• Friendly, professional, and service-driven
• Experienced in knowledgeable about wines and spirits
• 1-2+ years experience in a similar role
• Reliable, efficient, and calm under pressure
• Strong communicators in English
