Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or bar service preferred.
• Strong guest-focused service with a friendly demeanour.
• Ability to upsell drink and menu items.
• Knowledge of cocktails and hotel beverage offerings.
• Awareness of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining cleanliness of bar surfaces and equipment.
• Polishing glassware and tableware to standard.
• Knowledge of hotel facilities and services helpful.
• Ability to handle food running and bar service tasks.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends.
• Communicate issues to supervisor promptly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at the bar and in the hotel areas.
• Provide high-level guest service and uphold standards at all times.
• Be knowledgeable about menus, beverages, pricing, and cocktails.
• Recommend and upsell cocktails and beverages throughout the hotel.
• Be aware of allergens, dietary needs, and product information.
• Keep bar counters, tabletops, and furniture clean at all times.
• Ensure glassware is clean and presentable; keep menus clean.
• Keep tableware polished, condiments replenished, and seating areas disinfected.
• Assist with food running, bar service and food service as required.
• Stay informed about all hotel facilities to answer guest questions.
• Address guest issues promptly and escalate to supervisor.
