Job summary

Osborne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bar Manager for a busy Drogheda venue. You will lead daily operations, manage stock and staff, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 2–5 years in a senior hospitality position, strong leadership, and experience with POS systems (Toast, NCR). You’ll maintain compliance, oversee budgets, and ensure outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior supervisory role within a busy hospitality environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing successful teams.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast, NCR, or similar.
• Experience using inventory and stock management systems.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• A calm, confident approach with the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of a busy bar, including opening and closing procedures.
• Be a visible floor presence, guiding the team through peak service periods.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere with high presentation standards and ambience.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing bar team.
• Manage stock, supplier relationships, and weekly rosters.
• Oversee cash handling, stock takes, and waste control to maximise GP.
• Monitor sales and contribute to financial reporting and budgeting.
