An Chúirt Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Bar Manager to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of our bar operation.

About The Role

As Bar Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring consistently high standards across service, guest experience, team performance and bar operations.


You will lead from the front, supporting and developing your team while creating an atmosphere where both guests and staff feel welcome and valued.


Your Responsibilities Will Include


  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the bar

  • Leading, motivating and developing the bar team

  • Maintaining consistently high standards of service and presentation

  • Ensuring excellent guest experiences from arrival through to departure

  • Managing stock, ordering and controlling costs

  • Supporting effective staff scheduling and deployment

  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety and company procedures

  • Training and mentoring team members to help them reach their potential

  • Working closely with the wider hotel management team

  • Helping to develop the bar offering, service standards and overall guest experience

  • Driving a positive, professional and enjoyable team culture

You Will Ideally Have


  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy bar or hospitality environment

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment

  • A positive attitude and a hands‑on approach

  • Good commercial awareness, including stock and cost control

  • A willingness to train, develop and support team members

  • The ability to work well as part of the wider hotel management team

Required Criteria


  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a bar operation.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to deliver a high standard of professional guest service.

  • Strong understanding of bar operations and development.

  • Ability to train and develop bar staff.
