Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, catering, or restaurant serving preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed event orders and work in a team.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol or willing to obtain certification.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms and spaces per event orders.
• Provide professional, attentive service to banquet guests.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with proper etiquette.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and ingredients.
• Monitor guest needs and respond to requests.
• Replenish stations and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to UDABC policies and liquor laws.
• Break down spaces and return equipment.
• Communicate with Banquet Captain, Event Manager, kitchen staff.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation standards.
• Handle guest concerns and elevate when needed.
• Assist inventory and restocking needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
