Job summary

Davy is seeking a Banking Operations Analyst to join the Client Services team on a 6‑month fixed term contract. The role focuses on daily banking activity, payment processing, and deposits across Davy accounts, with emphasis on accuracy and risk-conscious processing.

The successful candidate will verify payments, manage EFT reporting, handle FX processing, and support risk and system development initiatives while working in a hybrid model in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in banking or payment processing.
• Relevant third level degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking, accuracy, and diligence under pressure.
• Experience meeting tight deadlines and showing initiative.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Verify and quality-check payments processed by the team, including pension distributions and ad hoc client payments.
• Complete daily automated EFT payment report.
• Manage daily deposit movements between Davy and partner institutions and post deposit interest.
• Process FX transactions on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with Group Risk to promote a strong risk culture.
• Support the team director on strategic projects and system developments.
• Provide coverage and assist other team members as needed.
• Operate in line with risk, compliance, and internal policies.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and prioritise urgent tasks.
