Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Cork is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale backend services, design reliable APIs, and embed AI capabilities across products.

You will own what you ship—from build to production—join a growing, collaborative team, and work in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the Cork office.

Barden is delighted to partner with a fast-growing software company in Cork as they look to hire a Senior Software Engineer.

They have a strong engineering team in Cork and are continuing to build it out as the business scales. AI capabilities are being embedded across their products, so this is a very exciting stage to join.

• 7-10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong background in backend services and production systems.
• Their environment is mainly Python and C#/.NET, but they are flexible on programming background for strong backend engineers.
• Actively using AI in your day-to-day engineering work, with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Notion, and able to speak comfortably about your experience.
