Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists are seeking an experienced Azure Operations Engineer to manage and improve a cloud infrastructure environment in Ireland. The role focuses on Azure engineering, identity management, security and automation.

You will work across cloud services and on-prem integration, maintain secure, reliable systems, troubleshoot incidents and contribute to IaC initiatives using Terraform and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Background in cloud infrastructure or IT operations.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD) and access controls.
• Networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, routing, connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud and enterprise infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Monitor performance, availability, and health of Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity incidents.
• Manage Identity and Access across Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Maintain networking components and security controls.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and IaC tools.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives (Terraform).
• Document procedures and infrastructure standards.
