Fruition Group Ireland seeks an Azure DevOps Platform Engineer for a 6-month daily rate contract, hybrid with two on-site days weekly in Dublin.

You will enhance platform engineering capabilities, design CI/CD pipelines, and work with engineers, QA and architects to optimise delivery.

Requirements: 4+ years in Platform Engineering/DevOps, Azure experience, and hands-on automation with Azure DevOps, Jenkins and PowerShell.

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Platform Engineering/DevOps or similar role.
Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across development and deployment environments.
Experience with version control systems and branching strategies.
Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Experience with automation and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins and PowerShell.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native deployment methodologies.

Develop, maintain and enhance platform engineering capabilities powering development teams.
Support design, implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines across projects/environments.
Collaborate with software engineers, QA and solution architects to optimise delivery and platform reliability.
Troubleshoot platform, deployment and pipeline issues to minimise disruption and improve performance.
Promote DevOps best practices, automation and standardisation across the lifecycle.
Assist project teams with deployments across development, testing and production environments.
Identify opportunities to streamline delivery and improve developer experience.
Contribute to evolution of cloud-based platform services and deployment tooling.
