Job summary

INNOVATE is seeking an Azure, Modern Workplace & Security Engineer to design, implement and deliver secure, scalable Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions with emphasis on security, governance and AI readiness.

You will enable clients to safely adopt Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities while ensuring data protection, access controls and information governance across Cloud Productivity and Networking projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations.
• Security governance and data protection focus, GA readiness.
• Experience with Purview, DLP and information protection is advantageous.
• Understanding of Copilot and AI adoption risks and readiness controls.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies including AD/Exchange/RDS/SQL.
• Solid networking knowledge and virtualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Support sales engagements with solution design and security considerations.
• Deliver migrations and modernisation projects for Azure and M365.
• Perform Copilot and AI readiness assessments, data exposure reviews.
• Implement AI data protection controls and information governance.
• Deploy Microsoft 365 security with Entra ID, CA, Defender, Purview.
• Drive security uplift and tenant posture improvements.
• Manage Cisco Umbrella for DNS layer security.
• Perform on-site hardware installations when required.
