Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking a Director in the Data & AI team to lead large-scale health data modernisation programmes using Azure technologies, including Fabric. You will drive architecture, delivery, and platform adoption across the full client lifecycle for healthcare clients.

You will apply extensive experience in healthcare data governance, security, and regulatory compliance, guiding senior stakeholders and shaping opportunities with health clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience designing and leading large-scale data platforms.
• Extensive healthcare data programme delivery experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure data services and modern data ecosystem tools.
• Strong governance, security and regulatory knowledge (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead health-sector data strategy and modernisation engagements, positioning Azure-based solutions.
• Guide sales and pre-sales activities for Azure and Fabric data modernisation.
• Architect end-to-end data platform solutions (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric).
• Ensure solutions meet healthcare privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on EHR/PAS data integration and secondary use for research and analytics.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary programmes and client relationships.
