Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for AWS Security at its Ireland Development Centre. You will build solutions to secure our cloud by collecting, enriching and vending security telemetry data across globally distributed regions using Go, Python and Type Script.

You will own end-to-end development, testing and deployment of features, work with diverse engineers, and help raise the bar for security across AWS services. This includes collaborating on design reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience with professional software development (non-internship).
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Scale and impact: design, develop, test and deploy features for security telemetry data across regions.
• Own end-to-end development lifecycle, including design, reviews, CI/CD and operations.
• Collaborate with security engineers to improve data collection, enrichment and vending of Linux security telemetry.
