Job summary

The SpitJack in Dundrum, Ireland is seeking a hands-on operations role focused on delivering outstanding service in a busy restaurant environment. You will work with an award-winning team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest experiences.

Fluent English is required; up to 40 hours per week with flexible and part-time scheduling. Opportunities for internal promotions and ongoing training are available to help you advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide warm, friendly and efficient service.
• Passionate about operations and standards-driven.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Maintain high levels of customer service with continuous improvement.
• Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
• Experience in a busy restaurant operation.
• Fluent in English; second language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Know the licensing laws and Customs & Excise Regulations.
• Serve all beverages to customers according to standards and customer satisfaction.
• Keep service and customer areas clean and tidy.
• Comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations.
• Requisition and display stock for the day’s service.
• Use the cash register in line with cash handling procedures.
• Wash and dry dirty glasses; maintain hygiene and readiness.
• Know the range of beverages available and serve accordingly.
• Maintain high cooperation with all staff.
