Job summary

State Street is seeking a Technical Project Manager (AVP) to lead complex technology programs in an international enterprise. You will drive delivery, governance, and reporting across global teams, balancing scope, timelines, and budgets while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM experience in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology operations, with strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• 5+ years of project or program management delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience leading infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data center, or risk remediation projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects in complex matrix organizations.
• Familiar with AI-enabled tools, automation, or advanced analytics for delivery and reporting.
• Budgeting, financial forecasting and executive reporting experience.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• PM certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resources.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, changes.
• Ensure alignment to business objectives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide governance, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate vendor deliverables and supplier governance as needed.
• Promote automation, analytics, and AI-enabled practices to improve outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO standards and tooling.
