Job summary

Tricon Automation Limited is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and commission automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and safety systems. The role emphasizes hands-on project execution, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years' PLC/HMI experience (Allen Bradley preferred), familiarity with safety standards, and strong collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with PLC/HMI systems, preferably Allen Bradley.
• Familiarity with machine safety systems, including safety PLCs and risk assessments.
• Understanding of ISO 13849, EN 62061, and/or Machinery Directive compliance processes.
• Exposure to validation protocols (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ) and regulated industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Robotic System Integration: Program and configure robotic systems from KUKA, Fanuc, and Staubli.
• Automation System Integration: Develop and configure PLC and HMI software using Allen Bradley platforms; design automation logic.
• Motion, Control & Safety System Development: Implement motion control with servo drives and VFDs; validate safety systems.
