Job summary

Force is seeking a recently qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the build of bespoke automation machinery. You will assemble machine frames, guarding and conveyors, interpreting drawings and pneumatic schematics while using hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates have hands-on assembly experience, a mechanical aptitude and good English communication. The role is based in Ireland with a strong emphasis on quality, safety and teamwork in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience required.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and docs.
• Experience with pneumatic systems and mechanical fitting.
• High attention to detail and safety.
• Fluent English, good communication with team and customers.
• Desirable: basic electrical knowledge and cross-discipline skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine frames, guarding, conveyors and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret drawings and pneumatic schematics for builds.
• Use hand and power tools and workshop equipment.
• Measure, modify and fit components to spec.
• Maintain workmanship quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and automation engineers.
