Job summary

Health Service Executive invites applications for a Social Care Worker position (Specifed Purpose Wholetime) based in Stillorgan, Dublin. The role requires a QQI level 7 award or equivalent, CORU registration (or in progress) and at least 6 months’ experience with complex needs. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Fluency in English and strong communication are required. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of current legislation in social care, person-centred planning, and delivery

Qualifications

• Qualification required: QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential, or CORU schedule 3 qualification, with at least 6 months experience as a Social Care Worker.
• Knowledge of current social care regulations and legislation.
• Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism.
• Ability to work on own initiative and develop care plans/ PCPs.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills and a full clean driving licence.
