Job summary

Health Service Executive in Ireland is recruiting a Social Care Worker (Grade 3029) for a permanent part-time position in Ashford, Wicklow. The role requires a QQI level 7 in Social Care or equivalent and experience with autism support.

Applicants must have CORU registration or be in progress, fluent English, a full driving licence, and the ability to develop and implement PCPs and care plans, delivering person-centred support under your PCP and plan.

Qualifications

• Understanding of rights and needs of individuals with autism.
• Ability to work on own initiative and develop care plans.
• Delivers support according to PCP and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centred care plans and PCPs.
• Provide ongoing social care support to individuals with complex needs.
• Ensure the person’s needs remain the focus in all activities.
• Operate service vehicles as required with a full driving licence.
