Job summary
Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults with autism. This 39-hour-per-week position offers opportunities to work evenings, weekends and rotating night shifts, with generous benefits and development prospects.
The role requires a QQI Level 5 Health/Care qualification, a passion for person-centred support, fluent English, and a full driving licence (desirable for vehicle duties). Employment is Irish-based at time of application.
Qualifications
- A full QQI Level 5 Health/Care award is essential.
- Awareness of the Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy.
- Programme planning through Person Centred Plans.
- Willingness to work shifts on a rota including evenings, weekends and night duty.
- Full, clean Irish driving licence desirable and ability to drive service vehicles.
