Job summary

Health Service Executive in Dublin is seeking a Social Care Worker to provide support to autistic individuals at Autism A Chara under a Specified Purpose Wholetime contract. The post requires a full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or an approved degree in Applied Social Care/Studies, with CORU registration or progress and at least six months’ recent experience.

Qualifications

• Essential QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related degree; CORU registration required or in progress.
• At least 6 months' experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Knowledge of autism needs; strong communication and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support and care according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
• Develop and implement support/care plans for individuals with autism.
• Place the person’s needs at the center of all activities.
