Job summary

Corlann Ireland is inviting applications for Care Assistants across Autism Services in Limerick. The role focuses on personal care, development on Individual Plans, and assisting two individuals in their own apartments within a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in an appropriate or relevant field
• Hold a full manual driving license which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads
• Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs
• Knowledge of person centred planning and person directed and individualised support approaches
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Care Assistants provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services, including personal care and supporting development on Individual Plans and outcomes
• Support two individuals in their own individualised apartments
• Promote independence, choice and life skills and support daily routines and community engagement
