Job summary

Corlann Limerick is inviting applications for the Social Care Manager Grade 3 (Area Manager) role. The position is permanent, full time, and based in Limerick Community Services/Limerick County.

You will oversee residential and day services for adults with intellectual disability, ensuring HIQA and New Directions standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, proactive change-management skills, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
• Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
• Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
• Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
• Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards
• Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
• Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability
• Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
• Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis. These visits will take place outside the normal 9 – 5 time frame.
• Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year
