Job summary

Corlann is seeking Care Assistants to support two individuals in their own apartments in Foynes, Co. Limerick. The role delivers personal care, promotes independence, and supports community participation through individual plans and care planning processes.

Applicants must have a QQI Level 5 qualification, a full manual driving license, and experience with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs. The position offers permanent contracts and a pro-rata salary of €34,536–€47,954.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in an appropriate or relevant field.
• Full manual driving license valid to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs.
• Knowledge of person centred planning and knowledge of person directed and individualised support approaches.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting two individuals in their own individualised apartments.
• Promoting independence, choice and life skills.
• Support structure daily routines and community engagement with meaningful activities.
• Delivering structured, person centred care in line with assessed needs and care planning processes.
• Implementing positive behaviour strategies.
