Job summary

RBK is expanding its Audit Department in Ireland and seeks ambitious Audit Seniors to join our Midlands-based team in a hybrid working environment. You will work with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and subsidiaries of multinationals, gaining experience across audit, business advisory and value-added services.

You will deliver high-quality audits, support junior staff, and develop specialist market knowledge while collaborating across departments to provide integrated client solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles with experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business advisory and business development.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on developing others.
• Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.
• A proactive and ambitious approach with ability to build client relationships and contribute to growth of the department.

Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse range of Audit assignments, taking responsibility for planning, execution and completion of Audits.
• Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting issues identified during the audit and providing recommendations.
• Deliver a high-quality service across a portfolio of clients with Partners and the wider Audit team.
• Build strong client relationships, understanding client businesses and identifying opportunities for added value.
• Supervise, support and develop junior team members, including Trainees.
• Develop specialist market knowledge and identify opportunities to support clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated solutions.

Job description

We are growing our Audit Department in RBK and are looking for ambitious and commercially minded Audit Seniors to join our expanding team.

This is a broad role that goes beyond traditional audit. Working across a Midlands-based client portfolio, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and subsidiaries of multinational organisations, while gaining experience across audit, business advisory and value-added services.

You will play an important role in the delivery and continued development of the department, working closely with Partners and the wider Audit team to provide high-quality service to clients. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own technical and commercial expertise while supporting and developing more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse range of Audit assignments, taking responsibility for planning, execution and completion of Audits.

• Work closely with Partners and the wider Audit team to deliver a high-quality service across a portfolio of clients.
• Build strong client relationships, developing an understanding of their businesses and identifying opportunities to provide additional value and advice.
• Play a key role in the supervision, support and development of junior team members, including Trainees, providing guidance on their professional and technical development.
• Develop specialist market knowledge, taking a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to support clients.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 2+ years' post-qualified experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles, with experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business advisory and business development.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing others.
• Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive and ambitious approach, with the ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
