The role suits an Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior ready to move into management, with preference for Big Four or Top 10 background.

You will manage audit and accounts portfolios, lead engagements, mentor staff, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high standards of service.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with substantial audit and accounts experience in practice.
• Currently an Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior ready for management.
• Experience with a Big Four or Top 10 firm preferred.

Our client medium-sized accountancy firm is seeking an Audit & Accounts Manager. The successful candidate can be based in either the Meath or Dublin City Centre office.

This opportunity could suit an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager, or an experienced Audit Senior ready to move into management. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with a Big Four or Top 10 accountancy firm background.

The role

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients, lead audit engagements and develop strong client relationships. You’ll also mentor your team and help deliver a high standard of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, from planning through to delivery.
• Lead, mentor and develop audit team members.
• Review audit and accounts files for quality, compliance and risk.
• Manage work in progress, billing and portfolio profitability.
• Build client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Contribute to networking and business development activity.
• Keep your audit technical knowledge current and share it with the team.

About you

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with substantial audit and accounts experience in practice.
• Currently an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager, or an experienced Audit Senior ready for a management role.
• Ideally, experience with a Big Four or Top 10 accountancy firm.
• Confident leading audit engagements and managing client relationships.
• An effective communicator with strong organisational and people management skills.
• Commercially aware and proactive in meeting clients’ needs.
