Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking an Associate Manager, Investment Operations to join our PGIM Operations, Alternative Assets - Portfolio Administration and Accounting team. This role is based in Letterkenny on a hybrid basis, with 2/3 days in the office.

The Associate Manager will oversee investment accounting, reporting and record-keeping systems, supervising a small team and coordinating daily/monthly deliverables, while ensuring compliance with STAT and GAAP rules for Other Invested Assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent experience in Accounting/Investment Operations with supervisory experience is required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong accounting, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Collect documents and review the financial statements of Limited Partnerships/Joint Ventures.
• Supervise a small team of accountants and provide feedback.
• Ensure timely and accurate review of accounting entries and ledger reconciliation.
• Understand STAT and GAAP accounting rules for Other Invested Assets.
• Coordinate and monitor daily and monthly deliverables.
• Participate in analyses and special projects.
• Monitor data integrity.
• Support external and internal audits.
