Job summary
Optum Ireland Analytics seeks an Associate Director Clinical Consultants to develop cutting-edge analytical products from large healthcare datasets. You will work at the intersection of clinical medicine, data science, and technology, contributing to projects from concept to deployment in a hybrid Dublin setup.
You will collaborate with Medical Directors and Data Scientists, leading validation of AI-enabled solutions, overseeing data governance, and ensuring outputs meet clinical and business
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related analytics, healthcare field.
- Fully qualified physician with active registration by the Irish Medical Council.
- Expert knowledge of clinical medicine and evidence-based practices.
- Experience in analytics, data science, or technology development.
- Experience in fast-paced, Agile environments across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Medical Directors and Data Scientists to architect and deploy analytics solutions.
- Lead project work including proofs of concept and new product development.
- Validate data science/AI solutions and conduct UAT with clear recommendations.
- Be familiar with big data analytics technologies and techniques.
- Translate complex results for diverse audiences.
