Job summary

Optum Ireland Analytics, part of UnitedHealth Group, develops cutting-edge analytical products from extensive health data. The role combines clinical medicine, data science, and technology to drive population health analytics and governance in a hybrid Dublin setting.

You will work with Medical Directors and Data Scientists to deploy analytics solutions, lead validation efforts, and advocate clinically for data-driven improvements in healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced analytics in healthcare or research methodologies.
• Active medical registration with Irish Medical Council.
• Experience implementing analytics in business or academic settings.
• Experience working in fast-paced, Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Directors and Data Scientists to architect, deploy and oversee clinical analytics solutions.
• Contribute to proofs of concept, new product components, and modernization initiatives.
• Validate data science and AI-enabled solutions, including user acceptance testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
