Job summary

RAD Search is seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist at Associate/Associate Director level to lead residential projects across Ireland. The role offers ownership from early design through construction and completion, with autonomy to drive design direction and team performance.

You will oversee design development, technical coordination and site progression while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with developers, consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong track record across Irish residential projects.
• Thorough understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and project delivery requirements.
• Strong site experience and ability to make confident technical decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with clients and project teams.

Looking for your next move? An established Dublin studio is looking for an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join at Associate / Associate Director level. The role offers genuine ownership across substantial residential projects, alongside the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the wider team.

The Role

You will take a leading role across residential developments throughout Ireland, overseeing projects from early design through to construction and completion. The role will involve working closely with developers, consultants and contractors, managing design teams and providing technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.

With a strong focus on delivery, you will be involved in design development, technical coordination and site progression, while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.

Suitable candidates will have a strong track record across Irish residential projects, including housing, apartments or duplex developments. You will have a thorough understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and the practical requirements of delivering projects from early design and concept, through construction to site.

Strong site experience is important, as is the ability to make confident technical decisions, manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with clients and project teams. The position would suit someone who is commercially aware, technically strong and comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy.
