Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to deliver a Utility-Scale Solar Farm in the Midland of Ireland. The successful candidate will receive training on an existing project before stepping up to act as Site Manager on a second site launching in early 2027. The role is site-based, five days per week.

Applicants must have experience as an EPC Contractor in the Irish market and proven delivery of Utility-Scale Solar/PV projects. A degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• MUST have experience acting as an EPC Contractor within the Irish market.
• Experience in delivering Utility-Scale Solar/PV projects is essential.
• Applicants with a degree in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of the site, in accordance with SHEQ principals.
• Managing subcontractors, engineers and suppliers to ensure delivery of project.
• Managing site progress and resolving challenges to site delivery.
• Ensure site records are managed appropriately.
• Being proactive in ensuring stock levels are controlled.
• Supporting handover to the end-client.

ersg are searching for an Assistant Site Manager to deliver a Utility-Scale Solar Farm in the Midland of Ireland. Upon joining, our client will provide training and development on an existing project before providing the scope to act as Site Manager on another site, which will go live at the beginning of 2027.

Applicants will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the site, in accordance with SHEQ principals.
• Managing subcontractors, engineers and suppliers to ensure delivery of project.
• Managing site progress and resolving challenges to site delivery.
• Ensure site records are managed appropriately.
• Being proactive in ensuring stock levels are controlled.
• Supporting handover to the end-client.

Applicants MUST have experience of acting as an EPC Contractor within the Irish market. Also, experience in delivering Utility-Scale Solar/PV projects is essential to ensure the success of the project. Applicants with a degree in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

Salary is €60,000-€70,000 + bonus + benefits.

You MUST be eligble to work in Ireland, and have a valid drivers license.
