Job summary

Interpath Dublin is expanding its Valuations team and is recruiting an Assistant Manager to engage with a variety of clients on high-profile valuation assignments while developing wide-ranging valuations knowledge and skill set.

You will contribute to diverse projects across Ireland and Europe, building robust financial models and collaborating with colleagues across service lines to deliver impactful valuation insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CFA (or equivalent) with relevant valuations experience.
• A strong interest in Deals, M&A and valuation advisory, with experience of valuation methodologies and financial modelling
• Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Time management skills, with ability to prioritise competing project deadlines

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on industries, comparable companies and transactions to inform valuation processes;
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and perform detailed analysis to support valuations;
• Interpret financial statements and relevant financial data to construct meaningful conclusions and recommendations;
• Effectively communicate valuation analysis and results to clients and internal teams;
• Apply research and analysis to appraise business plans and assess risk & reward;
• Attend site visits and meet management teams to better understand clients and business;
• Prepare first draft valuations and present internally;
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations;
• Support business development activities, proposals and client relationship initiatives;
• Collaborate with team members to develop new approaches and improvement strategies.

The team provide critical insights into the valuation of assets such as businesses, shares, and intangible assets.

We are expanding our Dublin based Valuations team and we are recruiting for an Assistant Manager. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will engage with a variety of clients on high profile valuation assignments while developing wide ranging valuations knowledge and skill set.

Responsibilities:

• Work on diverse valuation engagements both in Ireland and across Europe
• Perform high-quality valuation analyses using a variety of valuation methodologies
• Collaborate with Interpath service lines such as Deal Advisory, Debt Advisory, Transactions Advisory and Restructuring in addition to Valuations colleagues internationally
• Contribute to high profile client reports and build client facing exposure
• Build technical and commercial expertise through close interaction with clients and the Ireland leadership team
• Contribute to the growth of the Interpath business in Ireland and globally by participating in client facing events

Typical Projects include:

Valuation of companies, businesses, equity stakes and intangible assets in contexts such as:

• Disputes and Litigation, including Expert determinations and independent opinions
• M&A/Commercial and Fairness Opinions
• Financial reporting valuations (e.g. Purchase Price Allocationreports)
• Restructuring and Insolvency
• Tax (e.g. (for example share valuations for management incentive schemes)
• Private equity and portfolio companies

Key Accountabilities:
