Job summary

Excel Recruitment is sourcing an Assistant Manager for a Cork high-ticket retail sales unit. You will lead a busy, high-performing team, drive sales, coaching, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Salary ranges from €35,000 to €45,000 per annum, plus commission and overtime, with an OTE of €45,000–€50,000+, and ongoing training. Ideal candidates come from high-ticket sectors such as consumer electronics, computers, mobile, furniture, or home

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Department Manager, Floor Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales and team performance.
• Experience managing KPIs, targets, and customer service standards.
• A confident leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Background in high-value or consultative retail sales is highly desirable.
• Ambitious, energetic, and looking for long-term career progression.

Our client, one of Ireland's leading retailers, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the leadership of a busy, high-performing sales department in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager looking to take the next step in their management career within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
