Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking an Assistant Manager for Catering & Hospitality in Moylish. The role is full-time, permanent, with a salary up to €40,000 and a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings. Benefits include holidays, birthday leave, and training development to support growth.

You will lead a team to deliver exceptional hospitality, drive client service, and manage stock, budgets, and safety standards within BaxterStorey’s framework.

Qualifications

• Experience as supervisor or assistant manager in hospitality.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Ability to delegate and influence.
• Demonstrated passion for food and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations, including recruiting and selecting staff.
• Assess performance and provide training as needed.
• Hold regular team meetings to communicate targets and standards.
• Assist the General Manager with budgets and food cost management.
• Deliver prompt, consistently high customer service and experiences.
• Conduct stock takes and analyse cost of sales results.
• Ensure food safety and health & safety compliance.
