Job summary

Popeyes UK Chicken & Pizza Ltd in Ireland is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front, partnering with the GM to drive guest experience, people development, and profitability in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

You will recruit, develop and retain top talent, ensure food safety and quality standards, and energize the team to deliver consistent service. This role is a stepping stone to future leadership within our dynamic Popeyes operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant GM or GM in a branded high-volume restaurant.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and managing costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling and stock management.
• Strong people leadership and developing future leaders.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes' outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support GM in building a winning plan and achieving performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment law.
• Be a role model, set the tone, and inspire the team.
