Job summary

FP&A in Galway is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to lead group consolidations for European entities and support annual statutory statements. You will ensure strong internal controls and coordinate external audits while driving process improvements and automation across the group.

The role offers hybrid working, a clear path to senior responsibilities, and mentorship from the Senior Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience with group consolidations and rolling up reporting across multiple entities.
• Understanding of robust internal controls and coordinating external audits.
• Aptitude for project management and process improvements, including automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly group consolidations for European entities with retail, distribution and e‑commerce operations.
• Support annual group statutory financial statements and co-ordinate external audits.
• Drive projects to automate processes (e.g., intercompany recharges) and champion AI adoption in subsidiaries.
